Today Ezra, Leo, Mummy and Daddy had a big adventure. They were going tot dig the deepest hole in the world on the beach. They were on Kommetjie Long Beach in Cape Town. It was wide, empty, with crashing waves and mountains in the distance. Daddy had the biggest spade, Mummy a medium size spade, Ezra a small spade and Leo a tiny spade. They dug and dug and dug until the whole was 2km deep and suddenly they found a magical golden kingdom. They played theater for hours until the sun set and they climbed out the whole to go home. That night everyone fell fast asleep.

In the quiet village of Lumina, the stars in the sky glimmered brighter than anywhere else in the world. Legend said it was because of a magical lantern kept in the center of the village, which absorbed the light of falling stars to keep darkness at bay. The lantern was cared for by the Star-Gatherer, an elderly woman named Miren, who was the only one who knew how to collect the falling stars.

One day, Miren’s lantern began to dim, and the village feared that the stars might stop shining. Miren, too old to climb the Starry Peak where the brightest stars fell, sought help. A curious and brave child named Alina volunteered to go. She had a secret: she had always talked to the stars and believed they listened.

Armed with a tiny shard of starlight given to her by Miren, Alina embarked on her journey. Along the way, she encountered challenges: a mischievous wind that tried to blow her off course, a grumpy mountain spirit guarding the path, and a river of glowing water that demanded a toll of kindness to cross.

Alina’s courage and compassion turned each challenge into an ally. The wind carried her higher, the spirit gave her a map of the peak, and the river gave her glowing water to refill the lantern.

When she reached the summit, Alina found the largest, most radiant star ready to fall. She whispered to it, asking for its light to save her village. The star replied, "If you promise to share my light with the world, I will fill your lantern."

Alina agreed, and the lantern was restored, shining brighter than ever. When she returned to the village, the lantern’s light not only kept the darkness away but also allowed the stars to be seen in every corner of the world.

2. The clownfish saw Starfish looking sad. "What's wrong, Starfish?" he asked. Starfish told him about her lost shell. Clownfish felt sorry for her. "Don't worry," he said, "We will find it!"
3. Clownfish and Starfish looked for the shell. They asked all their friends – the octopus, the crab, and even the old seahorse. Everyone helped, but the shell was still gone.
4. The turtle, who was very wise, came over. "Did you look in the ocean current?" he asked slowly. "Sometimes the current takes things far away."
5. The dolphin was very fast. "I will swim and look for your shell in the current, Starfish," he said. Dolphin zoomed through the water, looking everywhere, following where the current went.
6. After a long time, Dolphin saw it! Starfish's shell was stuck in some seaweed, far away. He carefully took it and swam back quickly.
7. When Dolphin came back with the shell, Starfish was so happy! She hugged Clownfish, thanked Turtle, and gave Dolphin a little push with her starfish arms. "Thank you, my friends!" she cried. "You saved the day!" From that day on, Starfish loved her shell even more, and she always remembered how kind her friends were.

The setting in the beginning of the book is an old, run-down village that Averi lives in. The art style should be cartoony but also realistic in some ways. In the book, Averi is seen in her village playing an old guitar but she's still happy because she loves making music. Next, Averi is in her Grandmother's old attic looking for toys when she comes across a chest. She opens the chest and inside is an antique guitar with whimsical and colorful engravings on it. She takes the guitar and starts playing it only to realize that the music is magical. The music makes the dead flowers out the window start to bloom, makes the birds start to sing, and makes the sun shine brighter. The tune then carries out the window of the attic and some of the passing villagers hear it and get put into good moods. People come from far and wide to hear Averi play the magic guitar and the village begins to turn more colorful and lively as a result. Then, one day a terrible drought goes through the village causing all the farmers to be sad. The farmers ask Averi to come and play her magic guitar to see if it might make their crops start to grow again. Averi then goes to play the guitar at a farm and all of a sudden it starts to rain down on all the crops causing them to all magically revive and grow. The villagers all cheer and dance to her music. From that day on, Averi uses her magic to bring joy and hope to everyone she meets.

"Wah, sedaplah kuih bulan ini! Terima kasih. Yaya. Pandai Yaya membuatnya. Nanti kakak akan memuat naik gambar kuih bulan ini ke laman sosial. Kakak hendak tunjukkannya kepada rakan-rakan kakak," kata Shima kepada Yaya.

**The Lost Firefly**  

One warm evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon and the sky turned pink, Mimi the cat, Lulu the frog, and Didi the duck relaxed by their favorite pond. They loved this time of day, perfect for catching fireflies.  

“Let’s see who catches the most!” Didi quacked excitedly.  

The friends raced around, laughing as they tried to catch the glowing fireflies in the tall grass. But as the night deepened, Mimi noticed a firefly glowing brighter than the others, hovering alone near an old oak tree.  

“It looks lost,” Lulu said, her eyes wide.  

“We have to help it!” Didi declared.  

Determined, the friends followed the little firefly through the forest. It led them over meadows, past creeks, and into the tall trees. The journey was challenging, but they pressed on, eager to reunite the firefly with its family.  

Finally, they reached a glowing bush filled with other fireflies. The lost firefly zipped into the group, its glow brightening as it reunited with its family.  

“We did it!” Lulu cheered.  

The friends sat under the twinkling lights, realizing the best part of their night wasn’t catching fireflies but helping the little one find its way home. From then on, they promised to always help those in need, knowing even small acts of kindness could light up the world.

Петрик вирішив, що в місті багато людей, яким потрібна допомога. Він розповів своїм друзям і запропонував разом допомагати сусідам: носити важкі пакунки, вигулювати собак, підмітати двори або навіть поливати квіти.
Оголошення розклеїли біля магазинів і на дошках оголошень. Вже наступного дня їм зателефонувала бабуся Оксана, яка попросила допомогти винести старі речі з дому. Петрик і його друзі швидко виконали роботу, і бабуся дала їм 50 гривень.
Як Петрик навчився розпоряджатися грошима
Спочатку хлопці хотіли одразу витратити гроші на солодощі, але Петрик запропонував поділити зароблене:
1.	Частину відкласти – на велику покупку, наприклад, велосипед.
2.	Частину залишити на витрати – на морозиво чи іграшки.
3.	Частину віддати на добру справу – допомогти тим, хто потребує.
Розширення бізнесу
Справи пішли добре, і згодом Петрик придумав нову ідею — розфарбовувати камінці яскравими малюнками та продавати їх як сувеніри

Як Петрик відкрив свій перший бізнес

A childrens book about a young Lakota Sioux Native American boy named Deacon.  This story takes you through the daily things that Lakota Sioux do each day.  Sioux means "little snakes" and Deacon is a proud member of the snake house.  Lakota are known for their warrior culture and their Ghost Dance to protect their lands. Lakota Sioux manly hunt and eat buffalo.  They would eat chokecherries and enjoy herbal tea. They use the buffalo skin to make blankets and teepees and moccasins for their feet.  They live in "Tipis" the Sioux word for dwelling. The Lakota Sioux live in North America clustered in what is now Wisconsin, Minnesota and North and South Dakota or the Great Plains. 
Lakota Sioux were known for their beadwork and porcupine quillwork.  
Lakota Sioux would use canoes to travel and dogs/sleds to pull things.  When horses were introduced to them it changed their culture. 
Long hair is important to the Lakota Sioux and should not be cut unless you are mourning the loss of a loved one.  Lakota children played with rawhide dolls and throwing the willow spear. It is important to pass on the Lakota traditions and remember their 7 values of respect, compassion, honesty, generosity, wisdom, humility, and prayer.
