This book is about a family of four, a mom, a dad and a girl that is 9 and a boy that is 7. The story starts with the dad asking the kids if they remember the day that he got hurt at work. He is sitting on the couch and the children are sitting next to him. He then explains that he was hurt and ended up with a traumatic brain injury which is just a fancy way of saying his brain got hurt and needed time to heal again. He explains different symptoms to the children and that even though he gets mad and sad at times that it is not their fault. He loves them very much and needs them to be strong for their mom. Together they will all heal in time and he is sorry that it gets confusing at times. But he wants them to know he loves them no matter what happens.

What are you doing here alone?” Rina replied confidently, “Why, just because I'm a girl I can't come here by myself?” Aqma moved her gaze and just sat silently watching Rina playing by herself. It wasn't long before a horde of children came to invade the playground and Rina was drowned out by the group of newly arrived children. Aqma, confused and searching for Rina. “Uh it hurts.” He heard a voice. “Told you, people like you aren't fit to play here alone!”, “I just fell!” Rina retorted unhappily. “Just? You hurt your leg!” Aqma exclaimed. Their argument was punctuated by the growing sounds of children on the playground." "Hurry, get up before you're trampled!" Aqma urged. "I can barely stand!" Rina retorted. Aqma offered his hand. "You said you just fell, but you can't stand. Let me help." Rina accepted, and Aqma helped her to stand up. In a quieter place, Aqma tried to clean Rina's wound. “How is it? Does it feel better?” asked Aqma. “Yes, better, thank you.” Rina replied softly. “I'm Rina, by the way.” “I'm Aqma.” Aqma and Rina shook hands. “Thank you, you're better than I thought,” Rina said with a smile. Before it got too late, Aqma helped Rina back to her house. “Rina!” said Rina's mother. “Are you alright?” “I'm fine, mom, thanks to Aqma.” said Rina. Rina's mother turned to Aqma. “Thank you for accompanying Rina to play and helping her.” said Rina's mother with a smile. Before Aqma left, Rina stopped her. “Aqma! Let's meet and play together tomorrow” Smiling, Aqma agreed. From that day on, Rina and Aqma became close friends, and shared many adventures together.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [wiles of the devil. " John Jr asked Durga if he knew how to be strong in the Lord. Durga said that Your spirit thrives on being connected to the earth, the world around you and to others. 3. Then John Jr explored the meaning of the verse , "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of ]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Durga didn't understand the Flesh and blood part. John Jr explained that the battle is spiritual, not physical. He says that the enemies we face are not people or objects, but rather an unseen spiritual enemy. 4. The last part of the verse is "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." John Jr told Durga that they needed to stand against evil by Being Strong in the Lord., Standing on God's Word, Don't Lose Heart and Standing in Faith. 5. John Jr and Durga decide that they would try putting on the armor of God by reading and praying God's word, and remembering that God's righteousness protects them, and that they can have faith in his promises. John Jr and Durga decided that their daily practices would include prayer, scripture study, journaling, acts of kindness, exercise, and associating with friends of high standards
