Sophia is Charlotte's mother. Charlotte is proud of her mother, who is a programmer and thinks her mother is the smartest in the world. Sophia recently told Charlotte about the first female programmer - Ada Lovelace. Ada Lovelace was a British mathematician and poet who became famous for writing the first algorithm to be used on the so-called analytical machine (considered the first programmable computer). John Jr told Durga that the Breastplate of righteousness armor protects your heart from sin and attacks from the enemy. To be righteous means to obey God's commandments and live in a way that honors Him. 3. John Jr and Durga decided that they would make right choices, by saying no to temptation. They will have the courage to stand up to evil and do the right thing. 4. Righteousness means we are right with God. John Jr told Durga by putting on the breastplate of righteousness, they are protecting their hearts from sin and learning to be righteous- right before God. 5.. John Jr and Durga thought of ways they could be more righteous. They decided they would live with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with and forgiving each other. And bind them together with love.

Sioux means "little snakes" and Deacon is a proud member of the snake house. Lakota are known for their warrior culture and their Ghost Dance to protect their lands. Lakota Sioux manly hunt and eat buffalo. They would eat chokecherries and enjoy herbal tea. They use the buffalo skin to make blankets and teepees and moccasins for their feet. They live in "Tipis" the Sioux word for dwelling. The Lakota Sioux live in North America clustered in what is now Wisconsin, Minnesota and North and South Dakota or the Great Plains. Lakota Sioux were known for their beadwork and porcupine quillwork. Lakota Sioux would use canoes to travel and dogs/sleds to pull things. When horses were introduced to them it changed their culture. Long hair is important to the Lakota Sioux and should not be cut unless you are mourning the loss of a loved one. Lakota children played with rawhide dolls and throwing the willow spear. It is important to pass on the Lakota traditions and remember their 7 values of respect, compassion, honesty, generosity, wisdom, humility, and prayer.
