ایک دن جنگل میں لومڑی گدھے کے قدموں میں گر کر اس سے زندگی کی بھیک مانگنے لگی۔ گدھے نے اسے لات مار کر بھگا دیا۔ جلد ہی پورے جنگل میں ہلچل مچ گئی کہ جنگل میں شیر آ گیا ہے۔ بندر خوف زدہ ہو کر ایک درخت سے دوسرے درخت پر دوڑنے لگے۔ خرگوش اپنے بلوں میں جا کر چھپنے لگے۔ خرگوش: ”کتنے مزے کی بات ہے، اب مجھے انھیں شیر کی طرح دہاڑ کر ڈرا دینا چاہیے۔“ 😄 شیر نے جنگل کی سب سے بڑی پتھری کو دہاڑ کر ہلا دیا۔ جنگل کی سب جانوریں ڈر کے مارے اپنے اپنے گھروں میں چھپ گئیں۔ بندر: ”یار، اب ہمیں کیا کرنا چاہئے؟“ خرگوش: ”ہمیں شیر کو کھیلنا چاہئے!“ بندر: ”کیا؟“ خرگوش: ”ہاں، ہم اسے پتھری کھیل کر دکھائیں گے۔“ بندر: ”تھیک ہے، چلو!“ خرگوش اور بندر نے پتھری کھیل کر شیر کو دکھایا کہ وہ بھی شیر کی طرح دہاڑ سکتے ہیں۔ شیر چونک کر دیکھتا ہے کہ یہ دونوں کھیل رہے ہیں۔ شیر: ”یہ کیا ہے؟“ خرگوش: ”ہمیں بھی شیر کی طرح دہاڑنا آتا ہے۔“ شیر: ”واہ! تم دونوں نے تو میری آنکھوں کی پٹی کھول دی!“ شیر نے خرگوش اور بندر کو اپنے دوست بنایا۔ اب وہ سب مل کر جنگل میں کھیلتے، گانے گاتے اور مذاق کرتے۔

"Freddie the Dinosaur said See? I prefer calm now and enjoy the peacefulness," he explained. "Sometimes, the island needs me to take care of it." Isaac's eyes sparkled. "Can we meet your friends? We’d love to explore!" "Freddie the Dinosaur said Of course! Follow me," Freddie said, smiling wider as he led them deeper into the heart of the island for new adventures.

When the children return, Avery brought a red, a blue, and a gold candle Avery's family celebrates Human Light, the candles represent, reason, compassion & hope. Jordan brings a Kinara his family celebrates Kwanzaa they light the candles to symbolize their community. Taylor brings a star from his Christmas tree. He explains that he celebrates Christmas and that the star is a reminder of the North Star the wise men followed to find Jesus. Mako brings a Bodi tree with lights. Mako's her family celebrates Bodi day, the day when the Buddha achieved enlightenment the lights on the tree represent the path to enlightenment. Alex brings a Menorah, Alex's family celebrates Hannukah, and the candles symbolize light's triumph over dark. River brings in a crown made of holly candles sticking out of it. her family celebrates Winter Solstice & the return of the sun. Ms. Dennis says all their celebrations revolve around light and the symbol of the Unitarian Universalist Church is a flaming chalice, each of the children have a light inside of them. River suggests they sing "This little light of mine" for the winter concert. Everyone agrees.
