once there was a crow. it was thirsty. it flew here and there in search of water but could not find so. after a very hard work he found a small amount of water in a pitcher. when he reached there the water was too low and crow was unable to drink it. he thought an idea and drop a small pebbles in the pitcher. finally the water rises. he drank it and flew away.

ایک دن جنگل میں لومڑی گدھے کے قدموں میں گر کر اس سے زندگی کی بھیک مانگنے لگی۔ گدھے نے اسے لات مار کر بھگا دیا۔ جلد ہی پورے جنگل میں ہلچل مچ گئی کہ جنگل میں شیر آ گیا ہے۔ بندر خوف زدہ ہو کر ایک درخت سے دوسرے درخت پر دوڑنے لگے۔ خرگوش اپنے بلوں میں جا کر چھپنے لگے۔ خرگوش: ”کتنے مزے کی بات ہے، اب مجھے انھیں شیر کی طرح دہاڑ کر ڈرا دینا چاہیے۔“ 😄 شیر نے جنگل کی سب سے بڑی پتھری کو دہاڑ کر ہلا دیا۔ جنگل کی سب جانوریں ڈر کے مارے اپنے اپنے گھروں میں چھپ گئیں۔ بندر: ”یار، اب ہمیں کیا کرنا چاہئے؟“ خرگوش: ”ہمیں شیر کو کھیلنا چاہئے!“ بندر: ”کیا؟“ خرگوش: ”ہاں، ہم اسے پتھری کھیل کر دکھائیں گے۔“ بندر: ”تھیک ہے، چلو!“ خرگوش اور بندر نے پتھری کھیل کر شیر کو دکھایا کہ وہ بھی شیر کی طرح دہاڑ سکتے ہیں۔ شیر چونک کر دیکھتا ہے کہ یہ دونوں کھیل رہے ہیں۔ شیر: ”یہ کیا ہے؟“ خرگوش: ”ہمیں بھی شیر کی طرح دہاڑنا آتا ہے۔“ شیر: ”واہ! تم دونوں نے تو میری آنکھوں کی پٹی کھول دی!“ شیر نے خرگوش اور بندر کو اپنے دوست بنایا۔ اب وہ سب مل کر جنگل میں کھیلتے، گانے گاتے اور مذاق کرتے۔

The Vikings set up camp and built small houses to stay in. They spent the winter in Vinland, enjoying the fresh food and exploring the forests and fields. But as winter came to an end, Leif knew it was time to return home. He and his crew packed up their ship, and with one last look at the beautiful land, they set sail back home. Leif promised himself he would tell everyone about this amazing place he had discovered. When they returned home, Leif shared the story of Vinland with other Vikings. Even though he never returned to Vinland, he was proud to be the first European to find and explore it. And so, the tale of Leif Erickson and his journey across the Atlantic Ocean was told for many years. He showed everyone that with bravery, a strong ship, and a little bit of adventure, you could discover incredible new places, even ones you didn’t expect!
