We just need to believe in ourselves.” The friends held hands and made a plan. Aum said, “We may not be able to clean everything at once, but we will start small. Every piece of trash we pick up is one step closer to helping the tree!” They all cheered, ready to begin. Together, they picked up the trash one piece at a time. Misha found a plastic bottle, Aarav picked up a wrapper, and Viaana cleaned around the tree roots. It was hard work, but they didn’t give up! Soon, the friends saw an older lady walking by. “You’re doing a great job, kids!” she said. “I’ll help too!” She grabbed a trash bag and joined them. The tree looked even happier now! As the day went on, more people joined in. Soon, everyone was helping. Some brought brooms, others brought gloves. Even the birds seemed to sing louder as the park became cleaner. After hours of working together, the park was clean! The tree now stood tall and proud, with no trash around it. “We did it!” said Aum. “When we help others, we can do anything!” The friends felt proud of their hard work. “When we work together, we can do great things,” said Viaana. “We’ll always help others!” The tree swayed in the breeze, happy with its new clean home. From that day on, Viaana and her friends promised to always help others. They learned that with willpower, teamwork, and kindness, they could do anything, no matter how big or small!

Aubree’s elves are very mischievous and she loves searching for them every morning. Each Sunday throughout the season, her elves leave her a special card or letter along with a fun gift or activity to do with her family, like tickets to see The Nutcracker or to go to Legoland. Aubree’s family loves these special days and calls them “Elf Sundays.” Aubree’s elves stay at her home longer than other children’s elves because they know she loves Christmas so much! They stay until she goes back to school, and then they fly back to the North Pole until they return on Sleigh Day the following year. When they leave, the elves always give her a special parting gift with a card, to make sure she always has special memories of that Christmas season.

The Story of Denver: The Addicted Gamer There was a boy named Denver. He was in grade 5 and was very good at school. He always got high grades and his mother was very proud of him. One day, her mother bought him a phone to help him with his studies. The phone was meant to help Denver find information and do his homework better. At first, Denver used the phone just for studying. He looked up information, did his assignments, and learned new things. But one day, his classmates showed him some fun online games. Cholo tried them and found them very exciting. Soon, he started playing these games more and more. As Denver played more games, he started to change. He stayed up late playing on his phone and became very tired. He didn’t want to do his homework anymore and his grades began to drop. He also stopped eating meals on time and was often rude and grumpy.

Sophie is a sweet, happy little girl. This year she will be spending Christmas with her dad (Theo) and his girlfriend Esti for the first time. Finally, they won the game and they were able to return home after falling asleep again.
