World Standards Day (or International Standards Day) is an international day celebrated on 14 October each year.[1] The day honours the efforts of the thousands of experts who develop voluntary standards within standards development organizations such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME),[2] International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF). The aim of World Standards Day is to raise awareness among regulators, industry and consumers as to the importance of standardization to the global economy. Ben is Sarah's father. Nat the cat went for a walk. She saw a big house. The door was open. Nat went in just like that! She saw three hats. A big hat, a flat hat, and a small hat. Nat tried the big hat. "It is too big!" she said. Nat tried the flat hat. "It is too flat!" she said. Nat tried the small hat. "It is just right!" she said. Then—PAT! PAT! PAT! The hats' owners came back! It was a bat, a rat, and a gnat! They saw Nat with the small hat. "That is MY hat!" said the rat. Nat ran out—just like that! Nat got her own hat. Now everyone is glad!

On a sunny day Aqma, an ordinary boy, happily strolled around the village humming happily. “It is really a shooting day, I am so happy to be able to walk and breathe this air.” Aqma continued to walk happily while mumbling his favorite song. In the middle of his fun walk Aqma met an old lady who was having a struggle calling her cat who was up in a tree. “Koko, come down don’t stay up there, it is time for you to eat, c’mon Koko!” The old lady called out her cat while holding her waist. “Let me help you, Grandma!” Aqma offered, quickly climbing the tree. “Here’s your cat!” he said, handing Koko back to her. “Thank you so much gentleman! Here are some buns for you to eat.” Aqma took the buns with a smile and said thank you then continued on his way. In the middle of continuing his walk, Aqma met a man who was struggling to carry a lot of luggage. “Hi, sir! Let me help you carry your stuff.” Aqma immediately helped carry the man's luggage. The man smiled as Aqma helped him carry his belongings home. With Aqma’s help, the man reached home. “Thank you, kid. Come rest and have a glass of water,” the man said. Aqma rested for a while and enjoyed the man’s hospitality. Arriving home to his surprise, Aqma’s house was swarming with people trying to put out the fire. Aqma was confused and shocked at the same time, he just remembered that when he was walking earlier he forgot to turn off the stove and now he had no place to stay. He just stood there looking at his house that was slowly disappearing. Aqma sat limply lamenting his fate, the only thing he could save was his body. From a distance, the people looked at his loneliness until without Aqma realizing it, the old lady and the man he helped earlier approached him “You can stay at my house, child,” the old lady said.“My home is always open if you’re hungry,” the man added. From that day on, Aqma remained grateful for the kindness of others and vowed to keep helping people every day.

Miss Patel watched them and smiled. “Your umbrella reminds me of the neurodiversity umbrella,” she said. “The what?” asked Lila. “Neurodiversity is a big umbrella term for the different ways people’s brains work,” Miss Patel explained. “Like how Tom prefers quiet, Amira plays with words, Jake’s mind buzzes with ideas, Rosie takes her time, and Max moves in his own way.” “So we all fit under the same umbrella?” asked Jake. “Exactly,” Miss Patel said. “Some people are autistic, some have ADHD, some are great at music or maths, and some find reading tricky. The world is better because we all think and feel differently.” Lila smiled at her colourful umbrella. “That means everyone belongs.” The children huddled closer, happy under their amazing umbrella. The rain kept falling, but they didn’t mind—because under the umbrella, they were all together.
