Elon had been searching for the astroid before NASA truly lost track of it 6. After quite some time passed, in June 2024, Elon finally spotted the astroid 7. He started following it to figure out how best to save Earth 8. With the help of Space X, Elon devised a plan and an astroid blaster to shoot it out of the sky or to make it into a much smaller astroid 9.
