Once upon a time, there was a little squirrel named Sammy. Sammy lived in a big oak tree in the middle of a sunny park. One day, Sammy found a shiny acorn that he wanted to keep. Excited, he decided to go on an adventure to find the perfect place to hide his treasure. As Sammy scurried through the park, he saw colorful flowers, tall grass, and even some friendly butterflies. He climbed up to the top of a hill to get a better view. From up high, he could see the whole park and all the places he could hide his acorn. But then, dark clouds started to gather in the sky. Sammy looked worried. He knew he had to find a safe place quickly before the rain started! Just then, he spotted a cozy little burrow under a bush. “That’s the perfect place!” he thought. IThey was going to practice strength of restraint. They was going to be more prudent, by not taking unnecessary risks, and not saying or doing things that they might later regret. 5. John Jr and Hopsi started to practice the steps to make prudent decisions. Step 1: Take Counsel. One must take counsel carefully from one's self and others. ... Step 2: Judge Soundly. After deliberating with counsel, we fairly weigh all of the evidence. ... Step 3: Act. Once we judge the right thing to do, we must act. 6. John Jr and Hopsi decide it is best to understand the wisdom of his parents.

Lily loved to play. She loved to jump rope, swing high on the swings, and bounce her ball. One thing Lily did not like to do was run. "It's boring!" she'd groan whenever her mom suggested a jog in the park. "I'd rather stay home and read." One sunny afternoon, Lily was playing in her room. The sneakers, however, were having the time of their lives. They bounced past beautiful flower gardens, dodged around playful puppies, and they even slid down a hill. Lily, huffing and puffing, finally caught up to her runaway shoes. She scooped them up, feeling a strange tingling sensation in her legs. "You silly shoes! You can’t just run away! I don’t like to run and you made me chase you. You made me feel SO tired!" she said. Her mom, who had been watching from the window, chuckled. "Looks like you're having fun. Can I join you?” she asked. Lily, surprised by how much fun she was having running, decided to keep going and said “yes, let’s go”.
