Villagers often crossed it to gather wood and berries, but the hill was difficult for the youngest and oldest among them. In Sunnyslope lived the Millers, a family known for their kindness and inventive spirit. The youngest, Lily, noticed how her grandparents struggled to climb the hill during their weekly walks.
