Elif Sare arrives at a mill surrounded by birds, where she meets a tiny sparrow. The sparrow explains how wheat is ground into soft flour by the millstones. The sparrow shows Elif Sare the process, describing how the flour is used to make bread and cakes. Leaving the mill, Elif Sare finds a farm where cows graze and chickens roam. The butterfly promises Elif Sare more surprises await. Elif Sare meets a friendly cow that explains how milk is collected and used to make yogurt, cheese, and butter. Elif Sare then meets the chickens and helps gather eggs while learning how they are essential for growing strong and healthy. With flour, milk, eggs, and walnuts in her basket, Elif Sare thanks the butterfly, who reminds her to always cherish and protect nature’s gifts. Returning home, Elif Sare uses her collected ingredients to bake a delicious cake with her mother. 1. Thanksgiving was approaching quickly. John Jr and Yuēhàn were wanting to understand how the first Thanksgiving become known. John Jr went to the internet and began telling Yuēhàn about the Mayflower and Pilgrims. 2. John Jr explained that the Mayflower was an English sailing ship that transported a group of English families, known today as the Pilgrims, from England to the New World. After 10 weeks at sea, Mayflower, with 102 passengers, reached the United States, dropping anchor near Cape Cod, Massachusetts, on November 21, 1620. The captain of the Mayflower was Christopher Jones. 3. John Jr went on that The pilgrims wanted to separate from the Church of Egland and they believed God wanted them to voyage to America. During the voyage, the pilgrims passed the time by reading by candlelight or playing cards and games. Upon the arrival on land, the pilgrims were surprised to see the ground frozen and that led to their inability to plant and harvest food. 4. John Jr told Yuehan about the native Indians giving a hand to the pilgrims. The Indians taught the pilgrims how to gather food and survival skills. The help from the Indians save 53 pilgrims from ultimately perishing. Most of the pilgrims died from diseases described as a mixture of scurvy, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. 5. The following year, the 53 pilgrims and 90 Wampanoag Indians had a celebration that we now call Thanksgiving. The Mayflower was torn apart after Christopher Jones passed away. 6. John Jr and Yuehan started counting down the days to Thanksgiving. They planned a special tribute and prayer for the Pilgrim and Indians!

A small dog named Bondi lived on the street and didn't have any. But one day the dog met a boy whose name was Damir. Damir was nine years old. The boy brought food to the small dog and they became friends. The boy taught the dog many different commands, and Bondi taught the boy to understand what true friendship is. At the end of the story, Damir took Bondi to his home. And they were very happy!

They attend class at elf universality to learn about being an elf. They write letters to Santa. They meet Santa and hug him. Santa gives gunnar and Hazel a stuff bear for them to keep forever. Santa tells them the secrete of Christmas. They hug Santa and say goodbye.

The scriptures tell us that charity comes from a pure heart We have pure love when, from the heart, we show genuine concern and compassion for all our brothers and sisters. John Jr and Hopsi decide to have pure love from there on out. 3. John Jr and Hopsi thought of ways they could demonstrate charity. They thought up some ideas that they could do which include: Thinking and speaking kindly of others Praying for the needs of others Encouraging others to reach out to people they normally wouldn't Loving family and friends Treating others with respect and kindness Doing good things for others Praying for enemies Speaking the truth in love 4. John Jr and Hopsi decided to raise money or school supplies to help children in need of supplies for school. They selected a date and made up posters for the event to post around town. They also put a notice In the local newspaper. 6. It was the day of John Jr and Hopsi's charitable event. They set up a table with a jar for cash donations. They put out empty boxes for any supplies. Many people came by to drop off donations. The event brought in $3500 and 5 big boxes of an assortment of supplies. The supplies included backpacks, notebooks, coloring and writing supplies and glue. John Jr took everything they had received to the board of education for distribution to children in need.
