She is wearing a pink little outfit, with black ballerina pump style shoes and has two ponytails with yellow ribbons. She has long brown hair, dark eyes and a cute little button nose, with rosy cheeks. It is break time at school, and everyone is excited to open their lunch boxes—except for one little girl sitting all alone. Her name is Leila. She is new to the school and to Yara's class and is very shy. She doesn’t have any food for lunch like the other kids and seems very embarrassed about it. Some kids are staring at her, some of the girls are whispering to each other talking. Yara notices her sadness and feels a tug in her heart. Instead of joining her friends, Yara walks over to Leila with a smile and offers to share her lunch. Yaras friends see this and suddenly feel very bad for not being kinder to Leila. Tito comes over and offers Leila his juice from his lunch box. Keena comes over and shares her fruit with Leila. They became friends and Leila is feeling very happy. In this touching story, children learn how one small act of kindness can make someone feel seen, included, and loved.

Realizing her clenched fists, she understood the rainbow was her own creation, a manifestation of her inner light, a symbol of hope and exhaustion. Amazed at her power to create light, colors, a rainbow with her thoughts, a small smile formed on her lips. Letting the curtain fall, she sat on the bed, her mind full of thoughts, wondering if other people’s brains held such wonders.

My daughter is 5 and her name is Kayleigh. She has autism and speech delay, but she is now starting to talk after being non verbal her entire life. I want to encourage other little kids to never give up. Autism and speech delay looks different for anyone dealing with it. You are amazing inside and out and you should always believe in yourself. Kayleigh began using a speech program on her ipad at the age of 3. She's been in ABA therapy since she was 2.5 years old and Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy since 6 months of age. She's overcome many challenges but she is smart as a wip. She communicates very well with approximations and sign language and has very good receptive language. Kayleigh is such a bright little girl who has a heart that is full of love. Her and her mommy are best friends and love to sing together while listening our favorite Beyonce' song "Energy". She loves bubbles and also driving her 5 electric cars/jeeps. She also loves her pets Bella and Milani.
