Un jour, alors que Mamie Jeanne lisait un livre, Milo remarqua une porte dans le mur du salon qu'il n’avait jamais vue auparavant. La porte était petite, presque cachée derrière une plante grimpante. "Qu’est-ce qui peut bien se trouver derrière cette porte?" se demanda Milo avec excitation. Sans attendre, il s’approcha de la porte et la poussa doucement avec sa petite patte. La porte s’ouvrit lentement, révélant un escalier en colimaçon qui descendait vers un endroit sombre. Milo hésita un instant, mais sa curiosité l'emporta, et il décida de descendre. En bas de l'escalier, Milo découvrit une pièce secrète! Elle était remplie de jouets anciens, de peluches, et de boules de laine colorées. Il y avait même un vieux train électrique qui faisait "tchou tchou" en tournant autour de la pièce. Milo était émerveillé. Il sauta, joua avec les peluches et poursuivit les boules de laine qui roulaient un peu partout. Soudain, il entendit un léger bruit derrière lui. Il se retourna et vit une petite souris grise qui le regardait avec de grands yeux curieux. "Bonjour, je m'appelle Lily," dit la souris timidement. "Je vis ici depuis longtemps, mais je n'ai jamais eu de compagnon de jeu." Milo sourit et répondit: "Je suis Milo, et j'adore jouer! Veux-tu jouer avec moi?" Lily accepta avec joie, et ils passèrent le reste de l'après-midi à jouer à cache-cache, à faire rouler les boules de laine, et même à essayer de conduire le petit train ensemble. Quand le soir tomba, Milo savait qu'il était temps de rentrer. "Je reviendrai demain!" dit-il à Lily en montant les escaliers. On the way, Zlata met a monkey and treated him to a bun, and the Monkey gave Zlata a banana. Then Zlata met a chicken and treated her to a bun, and the chicken gave her a golden egg. Then Zlata went to the river and treated Beaver to a bun, and Beaver helped Zlata move to the other side to the village where her grandmother lived. They met happily and sat down to drink tea and buns.

Jelly-Bean is a little girl who is sad one day so she decided to go on a walk and meets a purple butterfly. They walk a trail by Jelly-Beans house and take a break at a pic-nic table. Jelly bean starts to cry and tells the butterfly she doesn’t feel happy. The butterfly makes Jelly-Bean feel better by telling her it’s okay to be sad sometimes all you have to do is think of things that make you happy. Jelly-Bean remembers happy memories with her family and feels better. The butterfly tells her if she ever needs her to look in the sky and she will be there. Jelly-Bean thanks the butterfly for helping her feel better. Jelly-Bean goes home and hugs her mom.

I was born in this historically and culturally rich hometown of Lung Yeuk Tau, but I grew up abroad. Every time I return here, it feels like stepping into a world where time has reversed. Every brick and tile here tells a story of the past. The old walled village, situated on the mountainside, stands with its majestic blue brick walls, seemingly narrating tales of repelling pirates. The steps in front of the village gate are cleverly designed as a defensive position, making it difficult for enemies to attack. The small holes and high platforms on the walls were used to monitor outside movements, ensuring the villagers' safety. Such intelligent architectural designs leave me in awe of my ancestors' wisdom. Passing through the ancient gate, I see orderly houses with winding paths paved with blue stones. Not far away, the grand ancestral hall—Song Ling Tang Gong Hall—showcases our family's long history. The exquisite wood carvings and murals inside the hall reflect our family’s glory and traditions. Beside the ancestral hall stands the Tin Hau Temple, with its red walls and yellow tiles radiating a sacred atmosphere. The ancient bronze bell inside tells of countless pious wishes, as if feeling the divine protection. The surrounding statues of the Earth God and the Goddess of Heaven further immerse me in the rich local beliefs. When I step into other walled villages like Dong Ge and Wing Ning, I can still sense the vigor of their long history. Although many walls are now damaged, I can still imagine the tense scenes of repelling pirates. The altars and other structures make me feel the sincere hopes of my ancestors for wealth and success. As I stroll through this culturally rich land, I can almost feel the footsteps of my ancestors and the vitality of this home. No matter where I go, my roots will always be here—in Lung Yeuk Tau.

1. John Jr went to church and was learning about Jesus' 12 disciples. John Jr went up to the pastor and asked him to tell him more about Judas Iscariot. 2. Judas Iscariot was a Jewish man. Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus to the Sanhedrin in the Garden of Gethsemane, in exchange for 30 pieces of silver, by kissing him on the cheek and addressing him as "master" to reveal his identity in the darkness to the crowd who had come to arrest him. Jesus was turned over to Pontius Pilate's soldiers. Jesus predicted Judas Iscariot's betrayal at the Last Supper. 3. Judas was overcome by remorse and attempted to return the 30 pieces of silver to the priests, but they would not accept them because they were blood money, so he threw them on the ground and left. Judas Iscariot afflicted by God's wrath. 4. Judas was damned due to the despair which caused him to subsequently commit suicide by hanging himself.

Carly-Rae is a young ballerina recieves an invitation to practice. But when she shows up it ends up being football practice and she gets all bent out of shape. But I keep showing up. Eventually I start realizing I have to get some sort of padding, so I make some out of stuff i have at home and it works for a bit but doesn’t hold up very well. And I kind of figure out how to get by in the game. Eventually tho it just gets to be to much and the padding breaks down and I just stop showing up. That’s where I am now. Just hiding. But eventually the ballerina will figure out how to just do ballet in the football field
