Harry the Hog Drives That Big Red Truck Harry was a small hog—smaller than his brothers and sisters. His mother was a pretty hog, and his father was big and strong. They all lived on the same farm for many years, under the care of Farmer Jenkins, who treated Harry and his family with kindness. Every morning at sunrise, Farmer Jenkins would pull up in his big red truck to feed all the hogs. Ever since Harry was a piglet, he dreamed of driving that big red truck one day. He told his parents about his dream, but his mother shook her head. "Harry, we're hogs. We can't drive trucks. We live in the mud on this farm." But Harry didn’t give up. His dream to drive that big red truck kept him going. At bedtime, Harry told his brother about his dream, but his brother just told him to go to sleep. While Harry’s brother dreamed of rolling around in gooey mud, Harry couldn’t stop thinking about driving that big red truck. Harry was always the first hog awake in the mornings, eager to watch Farmer Jenkins pull up in that big red truck. The other hogs were already thinking about breakfast, but Harry was focused on studying every move Farmer Jenkins made as he parked and unloaded their food. One morning, Harry woke up before dawn. The sky was still dark, and the air was thick with clouds. He thought he might’ve woken up too early, but it wasn’t the time—it was just a stormy morning. Heavy rain started to pour down as a loud crash of thunder shook the farm. Act 5: The mushroom elder tells them that they need a special mushroom juice, which grows on the dragon and phoenix flowers deep in the forest. Act Six: The sisters overcame many difficulties, found the dragon and phoenix flowers, successfully made new pacifiers, and learned to make mushroom ornaments. Act 7: Back home, Qingqing happily showed off her new pacifier. The three sisters spent a happy time together and learned the importance of friendship and unity.

Once upon a time in a faraway land Portugal on the Island Madeira, there was a little puppy named Emmi. She was just a few months old, full of energy and joy, and loved to play under the palm trees on warm and sunny days. But one day, her life took a turn for the worse. I knew I had to save her. I took Emmi to the doctor right away, and after a thorough check-up, the doctor concluded that she had a severe infection. Emmi needed urgent care and medication, which I couldn't afford. But I didn't give up on Emmi. I decided to take her with me to Finland, where she could get the best care and attention she needed. It wasn't an easy journey, but with the help of kind people along the way, we finally made it to Finland. Emmi was thrilled to see the snow for the first time, and she couldn't stop jumping and running around. She had never felt so alive and happy again. She loved playing in the snow, chasing snowflakes, and cuddling up next to me in front of the warm fireplace. As she got better and stronger every day, I realized how much wisdom we can learn from animals like Emmi. She reminded me that even though life can be tough and challenging, we should never give up hope. Just like Emmi, we should always keep fighting and look for the light at the end of the tunnel. Emmi also taught me the importance of kindness and compassion towards all living beings. Just like I rescued Emmi, we should always be there to help our furry friends in need. They bring so much joy and love to our lives, and we should never forget to give back to them. And so, Emmi and I lived happily ever after!

Emma lives in Scarborough with her single mother. They live in an apartment building. Her mom does 2 jobs to make ends meet, however with high rent and cost of living, theyhardly have enough money for food. So one day, along with her mom, Emma goes to the local foodbank that is run by Feed Scarborough. At the foodbank, while Emma was waiting in one corner reading some fun books, while her mom was shopping at the foodbank, Emma saw a racoon walking around, playing with an apple. Emma started talking with the Racoon. Racoon told Emma that his name is Dignity, and the apple is his friend, named Hope. Dignity told emma all about food insecurity in our community and that she is not the only one who comes to the foodbank. Feed Scarborough's foodbanks are set up like a grocery store, so her mom can pick and choose the food that Emma likes. Dignity also told Emma about so many children, who are not having enough food to eat nowadays as times are tough. Dignity told Emma that better days are coming soon as Toronto's Mayor and Canada's Prime Minister is working together to have better food in school so no children need to study in empty stomach. As dignity was telling Emma these stories, suddenly Emma heard her Mom's voice, calling out to her. As she turned towards the door, she saw her mom asking her to come with her so they can leave the foodbank. As Emma turned back, Dignity and Hope was nowhere to be seen. Was Dignity and Hope real? Were they really there telling Emma the story or were they franction of her imagination, as on the wall, there was a poster of Dignity and Hope (which are the mascots of Feed Scarborough.
