Our Kindergarten class is learning how to deal with big emotions. When they are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions they should tell an adult they need a break, how we can help them or what is making them feel that way. We want to help them understand their feeling so that they will be able to learn to self-regulate. We encourage deep breathing, breaks, walks, alone time and telling adults how they feel.

He started practicing patience and his temper tantrums disappeared and he fi rally had the kindness in his heart for box to open and play Space Oddity. 5. Then John Jr and Nazut were floating on space. They became friends with a young star. That star gives John Jr a tour of the universe. John Jr especially enjoyed seeing Planet X. 6. (Page 4) After gobbling up the enemy, the macrophages show pieces of the pathogen, called antigens, to the Helper T cells. This is like sending out an emergency call for backup! (page 5) The B cells hear the call and transform into plasma cells! They start making antibodies, tiny weapons that stick to the pathogens and stop them from spreading. (page 6) Meanwhile, Cytotoxic (Killer) T cells arrive! They find infected cells and destroy them to stop the pathogen’s plan! (page 7) Once the battle is almost won, Regulatory T cells make sure the superheroes don’t attack too much. They help the immune system calm down and return to normal. (page 8) After the battle, some B cells turn into Memory Cells. These cells remember the villain so they can defeat it even faster next time! (page 9) Bella feels better! Her primary immune response was strong, and next time, her secondary immune response will be even quicker! (page 10) Thanks to the Immune System Superheroes, Bella is safe! Her body is always ready for the next adventure!
