Once upon a time, in ancient Greece, there was a powerful and mighty god named Zeus. He was the king of all the gods and ruled over Mount Olympus. But Zeus' journey to becoming the king was full of adventure and bravery. Zeus was the youngest son of Cronus and Rhea. Cronus, his father, was very worried because a prophecy said that one of his children would overthrow him. So, Cronus decided to swallow each of his children as soon as they were born. One by one, they were swallowed, but when Zeus was born, his mother Rhea had a plan. She hid baby Zeus in a cave on the island of Crete and gave Cronus a stone wrapped in a blanket, which he swallowed instead. In the cave, baby Zeus was cared for by nymphs and a magical goat named Amalthea. "I will protect you, Zeus, until you are strong enough to face your father," said Amalthea. Zeus grew up strong and wise, and when he was ready, he decided to free his siblings and challenge Cronus. Zeus made a special potion and tricked Cronus into drinking it. Cronus felt very sick and, to everyone's surprise, he threw up all of Zeus' siblings! They were Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon. "Thank you, Zeus! Now we can help you defeat Cronus!" they exclaimed.

story about sadie who loves to do crafts, play volleyball and softball. She will do anything for her friends but seems to always be picked last or set aside. This makes Sadies heart break. She wants to be wanted more often then not. Sadie loves her mom and dad and she has severe anxiety beings separated from them. She also loves her two brothers and one sister. Her animals are her life. She has a therapy dog names Peaches who is a corgi and Coco who is a Boxer. Sadie wishes the world saw her as coco and peaches do. sometimes she feels lonely and scared. I am outside on the streets begging for food. Someone walks past me and says “eww.” I then start crying, in the background there is a bread pop up where someone is selling bread. I walk past the bread stand, over to a brick wall. I lean against the wall, and think of a plan. The plan is to do multiple crimes so i can be arrested, I want to be arrested because i will get food and safety in the jail cell. I then go back to my spot where i begged at and slept. Today is the day where i commit crimes, first, i steal some bread, then I spray paint a wall, then i steal again jacket. The cops find me and I’m arrested. I am happy but stressed at the same time. I am now in jail and have air conditioning and food.

1. John Jr and Jade was learning about Jesus' teachings about honesty. Jesus wants us to be honest in our speech and keep our promises. In 1 John 3:18 Jesus says "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." Jade told John Jr that they need to be truthful in their words and actions even when it is hard. They decided they would Be more honest. 2. John Jr and Jade thought of times they were not honest. John Jr told about a time he lied to his mom about getting in cookie jar before dinner. John Jr ate 3 cookies before. His mom knew he wasn't truthful since he had no appetite for his dinner. 3. Jade told about about a time he blamed someone else for something he had done. Jade picked his neighbors flowers and blamed it on his friend Vixen to his neighbor. 4. John Jr told Jade about the two commandments that says not to steal or not to lie. John Jr decided they would practice being more trustworthy by being straightforward, and not lying, cheating, or stealing. Jade share Bible verse Proverbs 12:22 "The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy." Jesus taught people that the truth will set them free from slavery to sin, self-rule, and self-justification. John Jr and Jade decided that it was very important to be truthful with God. Jesus felt honesty was a gift and loved to be around plainspoken and honest people. John Jr and Jade want to follow Jesus because he is the truth and speaks of the truth and love.
