Monster has a difficult time keeping his voice at in indoor level. The kids around him don't like to have him in their group because he's too loud. The teacher teaches monster that there are times when a big voice can be used, like on the playground, but there are times when an indoor level 2 voice should be used, like during group work and classtime. Monster works hard at keeping his voice low but he has a tough time until the third try when finally he learns to keep his voice an indoor voice.

Turkey and ham, piled high with some cheese, “Just look at this goodness! I’ll eat it with ease!” “Don’t forget mustard! It adds a big zing!” He squeezed on a dollop—oh, what joy it can bring! Then he topped it with pickles, so crunchy and round, “A yummy sandwich! It’s the best to be found!” He placed the last slice on top with a thud, And gave it a press with a big happy “thud!” “Now, let’s cut it in half, so easy to share, I’ll take one to my friends, with love and with care!” With a plate full of sandwiches, Sammy did grin, “Making a sandwich is such a win-win! It’s fun to create, with flavors to mix, A sandwich adventure—a tasty fix!” So if you feel hungry and don’t know what to do, Just follow Sam’s steps, and you’ll make one too! With bread and some goodies, your snack will be grand, Just like Sammy McSandwich, oh so well planned!

He couldn't leave his friend behind. That night, he sneaked back into the farm, carefully opened the barn door, and whispered: "Donkey, let’s get out of here!" The donkey hurried outside, but before leaving, he stopped and said: "You knew this was dangerous, yet you convinced me to do it. A true friend doesn’t leave his friend behind in trouble." The monkey felt ashamed and apologized sincerely. He had learned a valuable lesson about friendship and loyalty. From that day on, he became wiser and never put his friend in danger again.
