Go back to sleep.” Page 7 The voice called again, and again Samuel ran to Eli. But Eli realized it was God speaking to Samuel! He told Samuel, “Say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.’” Page 8 Samuel listened, and God spoke to him. From that night on, Samuel became a great prophet, guiding Israel and teaching them to follow God. Page 9 Hannah’s faith and promise led to Samuel becoming one of the greatest leaders of Israel.
